Amazing place! Everyone who works here is an absolute delight!
Drinks are exceptional, food was satisfactory, atmosphere could be more refined. Great waiter, he was busy but still attentive. Hostess was apathetic and unwelcoming. Please add Gluten free options.
two of the cocktails were fantastic: the oaxacan old fashion and the passionate one. our server was really great - i think i gave him a 30% tip which i don’t normally do at a middle end place. hostess was just not good 1) she asked fairly intensely if we had a reservation at 4pm and the place was virtually empty, the she was slow to seat us, 2) she wanted those menus back STAT, just odd, and 3) she was just a freaking dark cloud little thing - and there was just no need for it. she must be related to someone who owns it lol. she did her job but just should not be in a people position. food met expectations. like...
After seeing an Instagram post of the iconic ube French toast, I knew I had to go. Reservations are recommended and to get one for brunch so I could get the French toast, it was a 3 week wait. Parking was ample and free which for Seattle is unique but also very appreciated. They got me in early as well. Service was great and the waiter and trainee were polite and friendly. Unfortunately though, the French toast is way over hyped. It’s a a gorgeous dish for sure but the ube cream cheese is plentiful and cold thus making the entire dish cold. It was more like eating a dessert than breakfast and I couldn’t finish i...
Popped into here on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised with the vibe and food. Came quick and rather delicious - went with the B&B Burger.
Barrel and Bacon is delicious! The beet and goat cheese salad is delicious and comes with toast! They had sports up on the TVs at the bar too :)
This is a must visit, if in the Seattle area! Each dish and beverage is one of a kind. The staff have created an atmosphere that is both inviting and relaxing. I really enjoyed the Ube French toast!
the ube french toast is worth the hype, absolutely delicious. we also tried other savoury dishes on the brunch menu; all were delicious.
It was so good!! The ube French toast was amazing!! I can’t wait to go back!!
Incredible experience. Really well made drinks, very well made food. It is obviously that a lot of pride goes into this place.
Good friendly service and tasty food. We were a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed the food and experience.
Incredible experience. Really well made drinks, very well made food. It is obviously that a lot of pride goes into this place. Had the b&b burger was very well paired with the sinful tots and garlic aioli. The ube chicken and waffle was delicious. The Rawlings sandwich with truffle fries was balanced and flavorful. And the French toast to finish dessert oof… there’s a reason it has a reputation. Drove 20 minutes to try and was left full and still wanting more. Will be back, will be recommending to all my friends.
Made a reservation and was greeted by a miserable hostess in the dark, as the lights in the entry were off. She was adamant about having a reservation to everyone who was walking in. We received three almost incoherent phone calls telling us to arrive early to our reservation. And lastly a text message saying to be early. We arrived 25 mins. Before our reservation. The hostess continually reminding people that reservations only currently will be seated. She then met a party of 8 that walked in with a NO reservation and sat them and gave them a window of 1 hour to sit and eat and go. We get skipped over and...
So excited to have found this place! We had an incredible time, they did not disappoint. The vibe was fantastic, the drinks were incredible, and the service was on point! Gary is very genuine and his passion for what he does shines! Thanks for a great time.
Barrel & Bacon is a solid spot in Seattle. The food was really good—well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Service was great from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual dining and a relaxed night out. Big bonus points for the parking—plenty of space, which is rare and appreciated in Seattle. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out. I’d happily come back.
